This site is an introduction to my work as a freelance textile designer and textile artist.
I use the computer extensively for my designs and am inspired by the variety of ways digital design and print can be used. I’ve had my images printed on a variety of surfaces to be used either as art pieces or in interior design, including carpet tiles, glass tiles, industrial felt, pvc, canvas, paper and fabrics.

My photographs are often the start of a design, but after hours (and endless hours) of layering, distortion, and manipulation the final designs often bear little resemblance to their beginnings. This aspect of wandering and exploring is a major part of my enjoyment of digital design - I like not knowing how a design is going to end up when I start. The arrangement of colour is what underpins most of my work and it’s when a design makes me smile that I leave it alone and start another.
